Electronics Product Engineer

JOB SUMMARY
This is NOT a tech support or software developer position. You will be planning and designing audio/video equipment and specialized LCD monitors. We need you to work on your own, independently, and have the resourcefulness to learn and understand many new products.

JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Create, read, and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Design electro-mechanical devices.
  • Research and analyze customer proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data.
  • Investigate equipment failures and diagnose faulty operation.
  • Make recommendations and implement changes to drive improved product quality through new designs and the ECN process.
  • Write work instructions, process documentation, test procedures, and product specifications as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Atlanta-area candidates only.
  • Engineering Degree or relevant electronics work experience is a big plus.
  • Hands-on skills with an oscilloscope and soldering iron required.
  • High degree of commitment, initiative, flexibility and attention to detail.
